About Me

Drawing and Fine Art has always been a hobby and passion of mine for as long as I can remember. At three years old I would sit at my family dining room table patiently colouring and painting away for hours on end.

Fast forward a few years and I then started to create artwork as gifts for friends and family.  It wasn't until the summer of 2015 that I decided to take the plunge and create 'Oscar the Owl' thus making my first piece of artwork into a print available to buy online. From Oscar, more animal artwork was created, with each piece having its own individual personality and back story.

Each and every one of my pieces is hand drawn with Pen and Ink. My artwork is very much inspired by nature and the endless patterns to be discovered within it, and the majority of my artwork is of animals in a 'Zentangle' art style.

A lot of people ask me "why Zentangle?" With Zentangle there are no rules and no mistakes and that is essentially to me what artwork is all about. I love the freeness of the infinite possible patterns that you can use to create a new and unique piece of work.

Each one of my peices of artwork represnts a part of me. It can easily take over 50 hours to create one animal piece. Some of my pieces are even named after a close friend or family member who have inspired me to draw that particular animal.
